UC Irvine Division of Continuing Education students are required to have health insurance. Students are automatically charged the UCI Division of Continuing Education health insurance fee unless students waive the school’s health insurance plan. If you wish to waive UCI health insurance, please complete the Health Insurance Waiver below and submit it to CE1 before your fees are due.

How do I get my medical bills paid?
Complete the Medical or Prescription Drug Claim Form. Submit the claim form and itemized receipt(s) to the health insurance company for reimbursement via Anthem’s website.
If you have any questions about the status of your claim after it has been submitted, please call Anthem Blue Cross at (800) 888-2108. A claim must be submitted after an Injury or Sickness has occurred in order for the claim to be paid. Please always keep a copy of all documents submitted for claims.

- Under ID Type, select Student ID (omit zeros in beginning) and provide the information requested
- Create a username and password
- Set your email preferences
- Follow the prompts to complete your registration

- Download the free Sydney mobile app and select Register
- Under ID Type, select Student ID and confirm your identity
- Create a username and password
- Confirm your email preferences
- Follow the prompts to complete your registration
